STING y Juan Diego Florez compartiran el mismo escenario en USA (Enero 30)

Juan Diego Florez, nuestro reconocido tenor de categoría mundial, compartirá el msimo escenario con STING, el mítico cantante de THE POLICE... será con ocasión de una gala en Philadelphia donde se presentarán ambos por separado aunque todavia no se confirma si ofrecerán un duo... el concierto será dirigido por un destacado director de orquesta, en el caso de Sting estará acompañado por sus músicos en solitario (Dominic Miller, David Sancious, Vinnie Collaiutta ) y junto a la reputada orquesta sinfónica de Filadelfia con la cual ofrecerá un repertorio de temas de THE POLICE y como solista con arreglos para sinfónica... las entradas se pueden conseguir desde U$200.00

Juan Diego Florez se considera un admirador de "The Police" y Sting.

Personalmente desde hace un par de años atras barajaba esta oportunidad de que ambos ocupen un mismo escenario, cabe destacar que Sting participo en el famoso album "Pavarotti y sus amigos" ademas que a fines de los 80's grabó un estupendo lado B de un single llamado "Gabriel Message" en el cual destaca por una estupenda interpretación lírica de este tema "sacro-navideño"... antes de volver a reunirse con "The Police" (2007 y 2008) Sting grabó un album de Laud con temas barrocos ingleses del siglo 16 llamado "Songs of the Labyrint" con el famoso sello de música clásica Grammaphone (2006) y a fines del 2009 editó un disco de temas de corte clásicos llamdo "If on a winters Night" bajo el sello "DECCA Records" - el mismo que tiene bajo su sello a Juan Diego Florez- con el cual Sting sorprendentemente volvió a ocupar los primeros lugares dentro del apartado de música clásica o también llamada culta.

Born in Lima, Peru, Mr. Flórez studied at the National Conservatory of Music in Lima and at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. In 1996 he made his official debut at the Rossini Opera Festival, in Pesaro (Italy), substituting for the lead tenor, who fell ill. He was considered an overnight sensation, drawing attention from theaters like La Scala, where he made his debut the same year, at only 23. Es muy probable que ambos coincidan en conocerse y doy por seguro que si eso sucede puede haber una grata sorpresa al grabar juntos o tener una participación y quien sabe lograr que Sting llegue al Perú y reivindicar esa fatal decisión de preferir el 2007 a tener en Lima a "Soda Stereo" que al mas famoso tour mundial del 2007 - y el tercero mas exitoso de la historia del rock- de "THE POLICE"
